My previous surveys weren’t nearly as thorough as this. Will had a tool for testing everything. A true professional survey with lots of time and effort put into it.

Frequently
Asked
Questions
What is a Marine Surveyor?
A marine professional who assesses vessel condition, market value, maintenance, safety, and regulatory compliance, just to name a few.
Do you charge by the foot?
No. Length is not the best factor for determining pricing. For example, surveying a 25′ Grady White center console is very different than surveying a 25′ Ranger Tug.
What types of boats do you survey?
I survey most recreational vessels under 100ft, with a focus on yachts and small craft.
Do you survey sailboats?
Yes. While I’m not a sailor or rigging specialist, I will perform a basic deck-level inspection of the rigging and spars.
Do you conduct engine surveys?
In the standard hull survey, a cursory exterior inspection is done. However, a separate engine survey can be conducted by a qualified engine surveyor.
